Meet the #GearWashFamily: Raven Bobo, Operations Supervisor

Get to Know Raven! 

As our Operations Supervisor at our Gear Wash location in Memphis, TN, Raven, is responsible for overseeing all daily operations, associate scheduling, and communication with the Memphis Fire Department. She is excellent at maintaining an efficient workflow and trains all new associates on internal systems and repairs.

What are 3 things people don't know about you and may be surprised to learn? 

1. I went skiing for the first time in Steamboat last month and loved every second of it. 
2. I am a huge vehicle person, I love classic and new cars, and love learning about the ever changing automobile industry.
3. I swam with Whale Sharks off the coast of Mexico and love to travel and try new experiences.
   

What is the coolest thing about your job and why?

Everyday is a different experience! There's always something new to learn and the people I work with are amazing. 

Have you been anywhere for the first time recently?

In January I had the opportunity to go to Los Cabos, Mexico. It was my first time out of the country and it was amazing! 🏝️

What is you #1 recommended TV show or movie? 

Law Abiding Citizen is my all time favorite movie. 

What's the craziest thing you've ever done? 

Become a cat owner. 

How do you relax in the evenings or on the weekends?

Each day I enjoy 1 hour of complete silence alongside a TALL glass of delicious wine. 🍷

Imagine you could step in a teleport for a day and go to any place and time in history. Where and when would you travel to?

I would go back in time and destroy an infinity stone. That would have solved so many problems.

What's the last book you read?

Barracoon The Story of the Last "Black Cargo". It's a short read but extremely interesting. 📚

Favorite happy hour drink? 

Green Tea Shots or Prosecco. Depending on how long the week was I may have both haha. 

What could you give a 30-minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation? 

The psychopathy of Ted Bundy. I've seen too many true crime documentaries on him. 🔎
